Is Soli free?/Do I pay more for products and services when I use Soli?
Soli is completely free to download and use. You pay the same price as you otherwise would, plus you will earn rewards and will have access to additional discounts through deals and promotions offered through the Soli app.
What counts as a qualified purchase?
A qualified purchase is any purchase made at one of the participating merchants listed in the Soli app by a registered Soli user. For purchases at in-store merchants, user simply uses a registered debit or credit card. For online and mobile merchants, users just select the merchant’s website from the Soli app.
**Not all transactions made with your registered card (including PIN-based transactions, payment through a third-party digital wallet or payment app) can be monitored for eligibility to earn rewards. Do not use a PIN when making purchases if you want the transaction to be applied towards your offer completion.
Purchases must be at least $10 to earn SoliPoints.
How does Soli know when I’ve made a qualified purchase?
In-Store: Soli tracks all in-store transactions via the user’s registered debit or credit card. Once a user registers their payment card on the Soli app, they can pay normally at all the participating restaurants and other in-store merchants listed in the app with the registered payment card. Soli works with card networks (e.g., Visa, MasterCard and American Express) to make tracking completely seamless.
Online and Mobile: Soli tracks all online and mobile transaction using pixel tracking. In order for Soli to track online and mobile transactions, the user needs to select the merchant from within the Soli app and be redirected to the merchant’s website or mobile app.
Is Soli secure?
Soli is PCI compliant, uses TLS encryption (same stuff banks use), and secure user password authentication.
How do my purchases reduce CO2 emissions?
When you make a purchase at a participating merchant, that merchant pays Soli a small fee. Soli then uses a portion of that fee to purchase and retire certified carbon credits on your behalf.
Will my points expire if I don’t redeem them?
Any cash-value of un-redeemed Points expire 24 months after being earned. Soli will notify each user of approaching expiration dates to allow each user the option to: (i) extend the expiration date(s) for six months: (ii) ask Soli to donate her/his existing cash balance to a climate-focused charity listed as an “Alliance Member” of Soli’s non-profit partner, Climate Remediation Foundation (http://www.climateremediation.org/) (generally a tax deductible event). If the user does not reply to these notices in a reasonable amount of time, Soli will donate the cash values of expired Points by default, on their behalf, to Climate Remediation Foundation. In such cases Climate Remediation Foundation will acknowledge receipt of the funds as a tax deductible donation from the Soli user.
